Great to work with the Barkley team. Truly appreciate the guys record keeping and attention to detail such as their documentation, taking pictures to refer back to, following the plan or changes. Responsiveness to requests has always been great. The guys on the Barkley squad have an amazing sense of teamwork. One thing I’ve always noticed is that stonework is not easy, but I’ve never seen one temper flare from the Laborers on up at Barkley which is extremely rare. On my sites, I like positivity and it’s all been good with them. Quality of work is exceptional. The guys recognize problems or structural issues and are quick to review and quick to follow through with the solution. Creativity is always there. Can see the passion every day.

My experience has been awesome, amazing, great. I love the Farm to Table Unique Installations niche. Love the ability to do things that other companies perhaps don’t have the opportunity or capability, such as setting enormous and extremely detailed stones, and utilizing incredible fabrication capabilities. The ability to make natural stone parts and figure out a creative process for installation is rewarding. The family aspect, good core group of guys and environment to work in makes my job enjoyable. The ability to do projects that stretch us is satisfying. Working for Jake has been a great experience coming from owning my business to working for him full-time. The company has employees in mind frequently when making decisions and welcomes feedback and ideas from others to grow the business or expand our people component.
